Running with Purpose: re:MIND
re:MIND
provides free and confidential support groups to individuals living with, and
family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorder.
Since 2010,
re:MIND has provided free clinician led mental health support groups and
education for youth and adults impacted by depression, bipolar disorder, and
suicidal crisis. Open to individuals ages 13 to 65 and older, re:MIND responds
to the evolving mental health needs of Greater Houston with accessible,
community-based care. With more than 56 groups in 32 sites located in Houston,
re:MIND has a group close to you!
Why Running for re:MIND Matters
With every
dollar raised, re:MIND can provide high quality mental health care to
individuals and their family and friends with much-needed support.
$1000 supports
the launch of new groups in high-need areas of Houston.
$500 supports one
individual for a whole year to receive mental health care and education.
$250 supports mental
health education presentations throughout the community.
$100 supports a
family or friend to receive care while they are supporting someone they love
who is struggling with their mental health.
$50 supports one
individual who advocates for themselves and takes the first step by attending a
support group for the first time.
Additionally,
for our amazing runners and HERO participants, re:MIND will be holding quarterly
events to encourage fundraising efforts.
