Semper Utilis, Latin for “always useful,” encapsulates our dedication to supporting disenfranchised and unhoused individuals, particularly Veterans. Our aspiration is to empower these communities by providing career opportunities in the recycling and upcycling industries.

Since 2020, our all volunteer team has provided over 11,000 hot meals to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardships in Los Angeles County. Our BBQ and Donation Fairs serve as platforms for fostering camaraderie and community among those who often feel marginalized and underserved. Our volunteers, many of whom are former service members or have experienced homelessness themselves, create a lively atmosphere with free barbecue, music, and donations.

We currently fund our events by collecting CRV bottles and cans from our community and business sponsors, in addition to, generous in-kind and monetary donations.
