Many teens with physical disabilities have never thought about SCUBA diving but Stay-Focused offers them the opportunity to achieve their Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) SCUBA Diver certification during a week-long program in the Cayman Islands. And, the following summer, participants are invited back to Grand Cayman for another week of diving to refresh their skills and participate in team-building activities. As we celebrate our 20-year anniversary in 2023, we are proud of our success in certifying 145 teens and young adults with disabilities. The outcomes expressed by our participants with consistency over the years are increased self-confidence, the desire to try new things, and being motivated to set higher goals. Enriching the lives of teens with disabilities has been our mission since 2003.
