About Stop Soldier Suicide:
Stop Soldier Suicide is the only national nonprofit dedicated solely to solving the issue of suicide among U.S. veterans and service members. Founded more than 15 years ago by three veterans, we are laser-focused on advancing groundbreaking research and delivering evidence-based care specifically designed to reduce suicide risk within the military community. Today, veterans are 58% more likely to die by suicide than their civilian counterparts – an unacceptable reality that drives our mission forward. Our vision is clear: a nation where veterans and service members face no greater risk of suicide than any other American.
