Earlier this year my little sister, Katie, passed away unexpectedly. As many of you know, Katie suffered from epilepsy, but she refused to live her life in a bubble. 

She pursued her dreams and despite the challenges she faced, she pushed onward and overcame so much. Katie was actively involved with the Epilepsy Foundation, joining with the organization in its mission to aid and support those living with the condition.

 In her honor, my family and I will be participating in the 10th annual walk to end epilepsy to raise funds for this amazing organization. I invite you to register to walk with us on Sunday, September 25th in Manhattan for Team Katie.
