Tell Every Amazing Lady® started 17 years ago with a walk in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. This year we’re starting a new tradition.
Introducing the Tell Every Amazing Lady® Brooklyn Run and Exhibition.
On September 6, 2025, we will be having a 5k Run in Prospect Park, followed by our first ever Exhibition at Nitehawk Cinema.
Our T.E.A.L.® Survivor Ceremony will take place indoors during our Amazing Ladies (Survivor/Patient) screening which will highlight the strength and spirit of ovarian cancer survivors and patients. We’ll kick-off with a short film centered on the idea that cancer is a diagnosis—not a definition. Following the screening, you’ll hear directly from two ovarian cancer survivors in a candid conversation about how to maintain a sense of self, strength, and hope through an ovarian cancer journey. We’ll close with our T.E.A.L.® Survivor Ceremony, honoring everyone in the room who has ever been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in a moving and uplifting ceremony like never before.
We’ll also have the Magnolia Memorial Screening, a heartfelt tribute to those we’ve lost to ovarian cancer—an opportunity to remember, honor, and keep their stories alive. This special program features a moving film that reflects the lasting impact of love, memory, and legacy. Join us for connection and healing as we celebrate the lives that continue to inspire and ensure their voices are never forgotten.
Lastly, you can also choose to attend the Love, Gilda Movie Screening. Looking for a meaningful way to show your support? Join us for a special screening of Love, Gilda. The movie opens a unique window into the honest and whimsical world of beloved performer Gilda Radner, whose greatest role was sharing her story. Working with the Radner estate, director Lisa D'Apolito unearthed a collection of diaries and personal audio and videotapes documenting her childhood, her comedy career, her relationships and ultimately, her struggles with cancer. These never-before-seen-or-heard footage and journal entries form the narrative spine of the documentary, allowing Gilda to tell her own story — through laughter and sometimes tears. Following the screening, stay for a brief educational talk on ovarian cancer. Come be inspired by Gilda’s story — and help turn awareness into action.
Tell Every Amazing Lady® is also taking over the Trees Lounge where there will be photo opportunities, fun activities, sponsor information and goodies, as well as access to genetic testing with jscreen.
Come start an amazing new tradition with us. Tickets are limited, so get them as soon as you can.
