As you know, breast cancer is near and dear to my heart, (quite literally), and it has affected my grandmother, my Aunt Sue, my Mom, my cousin, and me.
CT Breast Health Initiative raises dollars for necessary research to save lives. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
Last year we were just short of raising $2,000. This year, I'm raising the bar higher.
I am grateful everyday to still be alive. It is only because of modern chemo treatments and surgeries that I am here today with all of you.
