Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer, also known as T.E.A.L.®, is a national nonprofit based in Brooklyn, NY, that offers women’s health services, including public awareness and education of the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of ovarian cancer; provides support to those impacted by the disease; and raises funds for research in order to find a screening test and a cure.
T.E.A.L.® was founded in 2009 by Pamela Esposito-Amery and her late sister Louisa to address the needs of women everywhere in the fight to overcome ovarian cancer. It has grown to a thriving community-based organization reaching millions worldwide.
The foundation educates the public about women’s health from head to toe, through, mind, body, and soul. Free virtual and in-person workshops cover topics such as anxiety and stress relief, art therapy, nutrition, genetics, and risk-reducing and preventative knowledge about cancer, including ovarian cancer.
Focusing on the unique pressures of being a woman, and the fact that women’s health is often neglected, T.E.A.L.® aims to connect with women to support, uplift, and educate them so they can know their bodies in order to advocate for their overall health.
