The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) is a non-profit organization based in Arusha, Tanzania that addresses vulnerability through the power of education. We offer individual orphan and vulnerable children the opportunity to succeed through access to quality schooling, health and psycho-social support and life skills programs. We also work to improve the quality of instruction, resources, and school management to ensure widespread, sustainable impact through training excellent educators.

TFFT has worked in Tanzania for over sixteen years. With consistent and thoughtful investment in students and teachers in Tanzania, we offer orphan and vulnerable children the opportunity to succeed. We began by providing orphan and vulnerable children access to quality education through our Scholarship Program, enrolling children in private boarding schools. As TFFT evolved, we developed and implemented programs to complement and enhance our scholars’ education, both at home and in the classroom. Utilizing a Whole Child Approach, our holistic services include access to quality schooling, health and psychosocial support, tutoring, and life skills programs. Through Positive Parenting Trainings, we empower the families of TFFT scholars and build out their safety net and supportive structure. With our Teacher Training Program, TFFT works to improve the quality of instruction, resources in the classroom, and school management. To date, TFFT has supported over 150 children with educational scholarships and trained over 2,441 teachers, impacting approximately 176,412 students in classrooms across Tanzania.
