Since opening in 1969, over three million visitors have encountered the dynamic exhibits and programing developed with the consultation of leading medical and scientific experts. As a Smithsonian Institute affiliate, we are given access to a range of innovative, cultural and scientific exhibitions, which further enhance The Health Museum’s unique role in the community by offering unmatched opportunities to learn about health and the human body in a fun, informative, and motivating environment.

    2022 Houston Marathon Race Weekend

    The Houston Marathon is an annual marathon held every January in Houston, Texas. With thousands of runners and spectators, it is the largest single day sporting event in the city. It is run concurrently with a half marathon.
