Historically, the West Side of Chicago has been overlooked, marginalized, under-resourced, undervalued, underrepresented, and so much more. 

WESTSIDE RISING has been a primary catalyst for West Side pride, solidarity, and social justice work through fostering collective action, civic engagement, leadership development, and community organizing. We lead the charge to ensure that our work, people, and communities are valued and experience equitable investment. 

We work diligently to provide access to quality training and learning opportunities for West Side residents to equip, empower, activate, and give people a sense of ownership in improving their lives and communities.
