The 2021 NYC Marathon will be third marathon. The 50th overall in NYC. When deciding to run, it was a no brainer—I was only running for the students and school I work at. This year, more than ever, the PS75 community needs help continuing to impact our students.
Given the effect of the pandemic, we are trying to return to a sense of normalcy in which our students can thrive. Our school relies on fundraising to pay for the great programs we offer, extra personnel, and supplies needed for classrooms.
PS75 is home to “where diversity lives,” our community teaches many families from diverse backgrounds, genders and languages. As a Title 1 school, more than 40% of the children attending are from low-income families. We take great pride in exposing our students to the many enrichment programs that live at PS75.
My ask is that you cheer me on. That is what is most important to me. The support from the sidelines fuels me to cross the finish line. I also ask for you to donate to my run. I am grateful for whatever you give and promise on Sunday, November 7th, every person that cheers for me will be greeted with a sweaty high five or hug!
