On May 19, 2018 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of Autism. As a mental health professional who works with children with Autism I have learned first-hand just how special, hysterical, smart and amazing people with this disability are. Sadly, there can be a negative stigma around Autism Spectrum Disorder and many families cannot afford the services that they need. Being one person I can only do so much to help make these services and research initiatives affordable, but as a group we can really try to make a difference in the lives of these children, adults and families. Please help me raise money for this fantastic cause and the unbelievably amazing people these donations will help. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards Autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
