A MESSAGE FROM Wetherby-Pembridge Marathon Fundraiser Page

Thank you for supporting WPNY Parents Maurice Horwitz and Jonathan Trichter and teacher extraordinaire Miss Chantal Wood as they take on 26.2 miles in the greatest city in the world, and + POOL's mission of free and safe swimming in the river! 

 

Friends of + POOL is a nonprofit organization working to provide equitable access to the East River for swimming, educate the public on issues affecting water quality, and promote water stewardship of the waters surrounding NYC. We believe in striving to achieve free and safe access to New York City's most precious resource--its water! We offer a variety of public and educational programming for low-income families, and our programming was recently featured in the NY Times! We are honored to be a charity partner for the TCS New York City Marathon and stand among other community-based organizations that make our city vibrant.
