Yesterday I ran a half marathon despite storm warnings in a race that really should have been canceled- yet I finished and PRed!! This matches my commitment to public health and health equity. We have three days left of fundraising, so if you were thinking of donating or getting a print please get to it!

On November 6th, 2022, I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon to raise money for The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC). As the nonprofit partner of the NYC Health Department, FPHNYC helps fund and implement public health initiatives that improve the health of all New Yorkers. I appreciate your love and support as the marathon draws near.

In just a few weeks I'll be running with my Fund For Public Health team and hundreds of thousands of others. Here are some ways your tax-free donation will support all New Yorkers. 

$50 can provide an infant safety class for new parents

$75 can provide a family with a one-on-one virtual session with a lactation specialist. 

$100 can provide a safe crib to a family who visits a wellness suite. 

$150 can support a 2-hour Doula-led prenatal class.

$250 can support a virtual group class with a lactation consultant to provide breastfeeding support and education.
